This program allows us to offer a series of innovative and informative workshops to support 40 Afghan girls’ education by expanding their knowledge in various fields such as leadership seminars as well as health workshops, in Mazar-e-sharif and Kabul, Afghanistan. The goal is to provide participants with a sense of ownership and importance in designing solutions to community problems and to teach girls leadership skills, and the importance of their rights and voice. We have incorporated these workshops into our Digital literacy and English class in Mazar-e-Sharif as well as our Literacy and Sewing program in Kabul.
As we move to partner with more organizations across the country, we hope to expand this program to other provinces.
