Join us for an unforgettable evening at "A Night in Afghanistan Annual Gala," a fundraising event to benefit Sahar Education. On October 10, from 6 PM to 9 PM PST at Hugo House in Seattle, and live-streamed on YouTube, immerse yourself in Afghan culture while supporting a vital cause.

Live Operatic Performance & traditional Rubab music

Live Rubab music will greet you with the sounds of traditional Afghanistan.

Immerse yourself in the story of Khaled Hosseini’s “A Thousand Splendid Suns” through the emotion and beauty of opera. Live rendition by Deanne Meek and Tess Altiveros, Sheila Silver on piano.

Art Exhibition

Immerse yourself in the beauty and duality of Afghanistan through the eyes of internationally renowned photographer, Fatimah Hossaini.

Delicious Afghan Buffet

Admission includes a selection of Afghan delicacies with vegetarian options. Dessert selection provided by Kabul Restaurant.

Registration includes a complimentary welcome drink from 6-7 pm.**
